The Mukwonago Dog Exercise Area officially opens after a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 6 at 10am. Both large and small breed areas are now open for limited use, and may close daily due to continued construction. Small breed dogs are allowed in the large breed area on owner’s discretion. Follow us @waukeshacoparks on twitter for up-to-date information.
Dogs are welcome at Waukesha County Parks and must be licensed and leashed; owners must properly dispose of pet waste. Sorry, no dogs allowed at Retzer Nature Center.
American Transmission Company (ATC) will be replacing existing wires and structures along the Lake Country Trail. Portions of the trail will be closed periodically between October 2014 and April 2015 to accommodate the movement of crews and equipment. Click for ATC's schedule and project information.
