WAUKESHA - Kathleen Madden has been appointed by the county's judges to take over as the new clerk of courts. Madden succeeds Carolyn Evenson, who retires this month. Madden will serve out the remainder of Evenson's term, which runs through 2010, Circuit Court Judge J. Mac Davis announced Wednesday.
Madden, a seven-year county employee, has been a program and project analyst, compiling countywide statistical reports for judges and county managers to use, as well as working on new court projects and procedures. "I am honored to be appointed to finish the term out and excited about the learning opportunity and committed to learning everything necessary to become an exceptional clerk for the county court system," Madden said. Madden lives in the town of Ottawa. She is the daughter of former County Clerk Pat Madden.
