Park System Fees


Waukesha County Park System is an 8,500-acre natural resources-based system. Some parks and lake access sites require an annual membership or daily permit. A portion of these fees helps us maintain parkland. (No fee at Retzer Nature Center.)

  • Lake Access Annual Memberships

    2024 Annual Lake Access Memberships

    Memberships are valid from the date of purchase through December 31, 2024. 

    Enjoy access to the following fee-based lake access sites: 

    • Nagawicka Lake
    • Pewaukee Lake
    • Nemahbin Lake
    • School Section Lake

    • Ashippun Lake: No fee

    Tip: Have your license plate information handy. Entry of your vehicle plate information is required upon purchase. 

    Please note: Annual memberships and daily permits are verified by a license plate scanner at each Lake Access entrance. No more windshield stickers!

    Daily Lake Access Launch Permits

    Joining us just for the day? Grab a Lake Access daily permit and get over to
