Picnic Area 5 Closed for Reconstruction
Beginning as soon as April 9, 2024 the parking lot at Minooka Park Picnic Area 5 will be closed for reconstruction.
NEW! Dog Exercise Area #1 becomes "All Breed Area"
We’re excited to unveil the new “All Breed” Dog Exercise Area at Menomonee Park, a new space for dogs of every breed and size to come together for exercise, socialization, and play.
• Find the new “All Breed Area” right by the Large Breed and Small Breed Areas (view map)
• Enter via Gate #2
• Dog Exercise Area rules (view rules) govern use of the All Breed Area
• No change: Dog Exercise Area #2 for Large Breeds; Dog Exercise Area #3 for Small Breeds
Note: Park users will encounter signs directing users of the Small Breed Area to a designated parking lot for easy access to Gate 3.

Complete: Phase one of the "Fox River Park Improvements Capital Project" - reconstructed shoreline.
Coming soon: Phase two - ADA-accessible kayak launch, ADA-accessible fishing pier, overlook structure, and access path (view project details). Thank you for your patience as we work to complete these improvements.
