Jacob started his career in banking as a teller at a local branch while attending UW-Milwaukee. After receiving his BA in Economics, with a minor in General Business he has advanced his career to work as a Finance Manager at a large financial institution. 

Jacob grew up in Brookfield and met his wife Kristin while attending Brookfield East. When it was time for him and his wife to buy their first house, they knew they wanted to be in Brookfield so their kids could enjoy the same experiences and attend the same schools events they did. 

Jacob and his wife have two children, a daughter who attends NIU where she runs track, and works towards her double major in psychology and sociology with plans to go into law enforcement when she graduates. Their son is a freshman at Brookfield East where he is involved on the Robotics team and runs track.
