  • Five-Part Teleconference Series Offered on “Current Issues Affecting Local Officials”

    In partnership with the Wisconsin Towns Association, the Wisconsin League of Municipalities and the Wisconsin Counties Association the University of Wisconsin – Extension Local Government Center is hosting a five part teleconference series titled "Current Issues Affecting Local Officials".  

    The following teleconferences will be held on various Mondays from October to February from 10:00AM-11:00AM:    

    October 5th: Engaging the Public When Issues Get "Wicked"

    October 12th: Determining Local Options for Implements of Husbandry

    December 7thLife After Prevailing Wage & Public Works Bid Basics

    January 11th: Fundamentals and Applications of Strategic Planning in Wisconsin Local Governments  

    February 5thStakeholder-Centered Community Marketing
