Lake Country Trail Underpass at State Trunk Highway 67

Waukesha County, together with the City of Oconomowoc and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation are proposing to construct a shared use pathway connection under the newly expanded STH 67.  During the STH 67 expansion project, a box culvert was installed in anticipation of this future connection. Trail approaches on the east and west side of STH 67 to the Lake Country Trail will be included with this project. Additional safety enhancements with lighting and video surveillance will be added to complete the underpass. The County has contracted with CORRE, Inc. to complete the design. Construction is anticipated for the Spring of 2019.

On Tuesday, November 28, 2017 a Public Information Meeting was held at Oconomowoc’s City Hall.  The meeting was an open-house format, and attendees were able to look at preliminary project information and discuss questions/comments with and project representatives from Waukesha County, the City of Oconomowoc and CORRE, Inc.  Presentation displays can be found here.
