Construction Projects:
What to expect

What: New construction on a Waukesha County Highway. 
When: Spring, Summer, Fall each year. 
Where: All over Waukesha County. See map (above).
How long: Most take a full construction season (5-6 months). But weather, size of project may stretch timeframes.
Safety First: Please expect changes to traffic patterns and closer quarters with on-site staff. Please stay alert and decrease speeds. We appreciate it!

Paving:  
What to expect

What: Resurfacing existing roadways -- not new construction of a road. Kinda like painting your kitchen -- not remodelling it.
When: June, July, August. Materials and processes work best in summer.
Where: Segments of Waukesha County Highways all over the county.
How long: Most take three or four days. But weather, length of segment may add a few days.
Safety First: Please expect lane closures. That means flaggers on site -- so please stay alert and decrease speeds. We appreciate it!
