Waukesha JanBoree is a city / county-wide event held in partnership with the City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department and various community partners. Free events are hosted at various Waukesha County Park System facilities. For a full schedule of activities visit www.janboree.org.
Saturday, January 18 – Visit Retzer Nature Center for a variety of family-friendly activities, enjoy the Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium’s special showing of “A Teenager’s Guide to the Galaxy”, go indoor ice skating at Eble Ice Arena, and stop by Moor Downs Golf Course to play “FootGolf” and “Smoorball”.
Saturday, January 25 – Minooka Park hosts a variety of activities including an Ice fishing clinic provided by the Muskellunge Club of Wisconsin, a weight pull competition hosted by the Alaskan Malamute Club of Wisconsin, a candlelight hike and beer garden in the evening . Go indoor ice skating at Naga-Waukee Ice Arena.
