Excusal from Jury Service

You must submit your Juror Qualification Questionnaire before any excusal can be considered.

Requests to be excused from jury service must be submitted at least 10 days prior to your jury service.

Medical excusals should include your Juror ID number and a written statement from a treating physician indiciating the condition you suffer from and the prognosis for recovery. 

Are you 75+ years old? If yes, and you believe you are unable to serve or could not do so without difficulty, you can write "Opt Out" in the requested accommodation section (question 6) on the Juror Qualificaiton Questionnaire.

Any other requests to be excused should include your Juror ID number and the reason(s) for excusal.
