The Outdoor Classroom Series

Get outdoors with a naturalist and explore during our Outdoor Classroom series. These programs focus on seasonal topics and incorporate hands-on discovery and sensory exploration for your elementary-age learner. Each program is one hour in duration. Students must be accompanied by an adult. Programs will be mostly outdoors, so dress for the weather. Indoor activities may be incorporated in case of inclement weather.

Animal Adaptations: Amphibians - Enjoy a visit from the Retzer teaching animals! See how an animal’s physical and behavioral traits can help it to survive as we explore the concepts of habitat and adaptation. For the class, we will focus in on amphibians!
