Using our powers of observation and sensory skills, we will have a hands-on outdoor experience exploring the natural treasures of the season. We’ll explore all things winged: birds, butterflies, bees and bats. We’ll discover how these winged creatures are similar and different and how they all can fly.

$4 per student (free for adults and young siblings under age 3) Limited to 20-25 paid program attendees.

Register at least one day (24 hrs.) prior to program (no walk-ins)
Families, caregivers, home school groups, scout troops, 4-H and more… supplement your learner’s virtual education experience with an environmental education program at Retzer Nature Center. Each program is 60 minutes in duration. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Programs will be conducted completely outdoors, so dress for the weather. In case of inclement weather, program will be moved to an openly ventilated location. Face masks will be required indoors and when social distancing cannot be properly maintained outdoors.
