Explore and make observations at Retzer Nature Center’s colorful prairie. We’ll take a close look at flowering prairie plants and prairie grass to see how they have adapted to life in the prairie.

$4 per student (free for adults and young siblings under age 3) Limited to 20-25 paid program attendees.

Families, caregivers, home school groups, scout troops, 4-H and more… supplement your learner’s virtual education experience with an environmental education program at Retzer Nature Center. Each program is 60 minutes in duration. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Programs will be conducted completely outdoors, so dress for the weather. In case of inclement weather, program will be moved to an openly ventilated location. Face masks will be required indoors and when social distancing cannot be properly maintained outdoors.
