Public Involvement Meeting: Pewaukee to Brookfield Connector Trail

Where: Fox Brook Park

From: 9/19/2019 5:30:00 PM To: 9/19/2019 7:30:00 PM

You are invited to attend the Public Involvement Meeting (PIM) at which the above referenced project will be discussed. The meeting will be held at the Fox Brook Park Lodge, 2925 N Barker Road, Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Thursday, September 19, 2019 beginning at 5:30 p.m. and lasting until 7:30 p.m.

The meeting will be open house format so you can attend any time during those hours. No formal presentation will be given, but project displays will be provided and project representatives will be available to discuss the proposed project and to address any questions or concerns that you may have.

The proposed trail will provide an important bike/pedestrian connection in Waukesha County, between the City of Brookfield and the City of Pewaukee. The trail is planned to be a 10’ wide asphalt pavement with 3-foot shoulders. Design strategies will minimize impacts to surrounding trees, wetlands and neighboring properties. Construction is anticipated for the Spring of 2021.
