Waukesha County

Grand Opening of Interactive Exhibit Space

Where: Retzer Nature Center

From: 4/28/2018 10:00:00 AM To: 4/28/2018 4:00:00 PM

Join us as we celebrate the Grand Opening of our new Interactive Exhibit Space! The new space incorporates displays on recycling, waste reduction, and water conservation into the existing ecology exhibits. This project expands the existing nature center exhibits and programming to provide additional opportunities for schools and residents alike.

The exhibits and center will be a key element of the new, cooperative K-12 science and environmental education curriculum that was created collaboratively with the School District of Waukesha and Carroll University. Projects such as this are leading the way for more innovation and STEM incorporation into our education programming.

The Grand Opening is during Retzer Nature Center's Earth Week Finale, which offers FREE activities all day long from 5 am - 9 pm. Join us for hikes, bird watches, planetarium shows, concerts and more!
