Event Description: Help our staff remove invasive species from along the Ice Age Trail as it traverses one of our highest quality natural areas in Waukesha County! We will focus our efforts on removing common buckthorn using hand saws and loppers from along the glacial ridges in Monches County Park!

Where to meet: Volunteers should park in the Ice Age Trail (IAT) parking lot off of Hwy K and walk towards the trailhead of the Monches Segment of the IAT. There is no parking fee.

What to wear: Dress for the weather (long sleeves and pants are recommended) and wear clothes that are OK to get beat up, closed-toe shoes, gloves (extra will be provided), safety glasses (extra will be provided).

Age Requirement: Adult supervision is REQUIRED for the duration of the project if a volunteer is under the age of 18. Recommended for adults and children ages 13+.
