Public Planetarium Shows


The state-of-the-art, 90-seat, Digistar-6 planetarium is owned and operated by the School District of Waukesha. With its high-definition laser projection system, guests can fly through the rings of Saturn, land spacecraft on Mars and travel at light speed to stars and distant galaxies... all without leaving their seats!

Public shows are scheduled year-round. On Saturdays, a children's show is offered at 11 a.m. and a general public show is at 1 p.m. Wednesday public shows are offered year-around at 11:00 a.m., and during the summer months, an additional show at 1:00 p.m. is scheduled.

Admission is $5.00 per person. Advance tickets are available at https://hdplanetarium.ticketleap.com, or payable by cash or charge at the door, space permitting.

Groups of 20 or more may request a private show for $5.00 per person. Programs available for groups are the same as those used for our educational programs (see school listings).
