INFORMATION

Hours:
Passport appointments can be scheduled Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. or on the 4th Tuesday of the month until 6:00 p.m. Appointments are strongly encouraged yet we will accommodate walks-ins on an as-available basis. 

Passport Fees: 
Application Fees - Application fees are forwarded to the U.S. Department of State.  Only personal checks, money orders and bank drafts are accepted.

Execution Fees and Photos - Are paid separately from the application fee and paid directly to the County Clerk's office.  Cash or Credit card may be used as payment.

Note: Do not sign the application until the time of your appointment. 

Present Proof of U.S.  Citizenship:

You may use a previous U.S. Passport, a certified birth certificate or a naturalization certificate. Note: a certified birth certificate has a registrar's raised, embossed, impressed or multicolored seal, registrar's signature, and the date the certificate was filed with the registrar's office, which must be within one year of your birth.

Present Proof of Identity:

You may use a previous U.S. Passport, a naturalization certificate, a certificate of citizenship a current and valid drivers license, government ID or military ID.

One Passport Photo:
(Available in County Clerks office)

The photograph must be 2x2 inches in size, taken within the past 6 months, color, full face, front view with a white or off-white background. The picture should be taken in normal attire, no uniforms or hats. If you normally wear glasses, a hearing device, wig or similar articles they should be worn on your picture. Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable.

For all Minors Under age 16:

The minor MUST appear in person. All applications for children under 16 require both parent's or legal guardians' consent. For more on special requirements please click here.

Time:

Application time will take approximately 30 minutes.

Passport processing time: 

Routine Service within 6 - 8 weeks.
