Charles "Chuck" Wood is, with exception of college, a lifelong resident of Waukesha County, 54 years. Chuck has been married for 30 years and has two adult children employed in the private sector. He retired from thirty years in the Sheriff's Office as a Captain in 2016.
Recognized for his service by Wisconsin State Legislature, Kettle Moraine Hall of Fame, DEA Certificate of Recognition, DCI Certificate of Appreciation, and Sheriff's Commendation, Chuck is also Past President of the Wisconsin Narcotics Officers Association and retains the title of Past President for life.
He volunteers for the Drug Free Communities Leadership Team and the 180 Juvenile Diversion Program Executive Committee. He is a member of Lions International and serves with the Genesee-Wales Club. He is in regular attendance of Village and Town Board Meetings within his District, which includes Villages of Dousman, Eagle, and North Prairie, and the Towns of Eagle, Ottawa, and a third of Mukwonago.
His special interests reflect the unique and large district he represents, public safety including police, Sheriff and fire, and combating drug abuse and addiction.
Chuck has a BS degree from UW Stevens Point, and is a graduate of Northwestern University Police Staff and Command and DEA Quantico Drug Unit Commanders Academy.
