Waukesha County Parks Beaches & Swimming FAQs

COVID-19 Response:

Updated June 2, 2020

Please help us stay open with respectful and responsible visits as we continue to operate our swimming beaches, while following all Waukesha County guidelines. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we adjust operations.

  • Park users should practice social distancing by staying 6 feet from other guests not residing in the same living unit or household. This includes in the park, on the beach, in the water and in the parking lot.
  • If the beach is too crowded to keep a safe distance, visitors should come back at a less busy time or consider visiting another beach.
  • Playgrounds and picnic tables are not sanitized and should be used at your own risk.
  • Our staff will be monitoring volume and taking appropriate measures to ensure proper social distancing is maintained.
  • In order to maintain safety, our staff reserves the right to ask patrons to adjust distances, temporarily restrict access to the park or specific areas and ask visitors to come back another time.
  • There will only be vending machines available – no other food concessions for 2020. Please bring your own water.
  • The raft platforms will not be available for use in 2020 (Menomonee and Fox Brook).
