• General Information:

    Utility permits are necessary when constructing, maintaining or repairing utilities within the County Highway right of way.  They help the permitting authority manage the highway right of way corridor for the most efficient use of space as well as to coordinate the facilities within and ensure proper restoration.  The permit fees are dependent on the scope of work that will be occurring.

    Permit Requirements:
    • Completed Department Application.
    • Detailed plan of proposed installation.
    • Payment is not required at the time of application.  Payment shall be made after plan review and prior to issuance of permit.
