A major goal for both Extension and the City of Waukesha is to help increase civic engagement opportunities for residents to learn more about the community and to participate in the decision-making process. Together, we designed the Waukesha Local Government Academy to strengthen community relationships, inform residents about the City's strengths, challenges and goals, and to increase advocacy of important topics.
