Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome to the volunteer opportunities available with the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Waukesha County (ADRC). Volunteers bring a unique spirit to the ways in which the ADRC works toward its mission to improve life in Waukesha County. Volunteers allow the ADRC to reach out to families and individuals in many more special ways than would be possible with paid staff alone.

In addition to the personal rewards of volunteering, the ADRC offers other benefits to volunteer staff:

  • Broadening your knowledge of the community and the resources available to older adults.
  • Meeting new people, making new friends and adding variety to your life.
  • Gaining job experience and discovering more about yourself and the work environment.
  • Recognition activities throughout the year.
  • Receive a written reference upon request after 6 months.
