The Nurse Call Center is available by phone:
Mon., Wed., Thurs., & Fri. (8 AM – 4:30 PM)
Extended hours on Tuesdays (8 AM – 6:30 PM)

The Public Health Division will be closed to the public for 2017 holiday observances on the following dates:

  • MEMORIAL DAY will be observed Monday, May 29, 2017
  • INDEPENDENCE DAY will be observed Tuesday, July 4, 2017
  • LABOR DAY will be observed Monday, September 4, 2017
  • THANKSGIVING DAY and THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING will be observed Thursday, November 23, 2017, and Friday, November 24, 2017
  • CHRISTMAS EVE and CHRISTMAS DAY will be observed Monday, December 25, 2017, and Tuesday, December 26, 2017

Walk-in Services and Nurse Call Center


The walk-in services are available Mon., Wed., Thurs., & Fri. (8 AM – 4 PM)

Extended hours on Tuesdays (8 AM – 6:30 PM)

Walk-in services are provided at the Public Health Center,
514 Riverview Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53188.

Public health nurses are available to provide health information and referrals, as well as walk-in services (preventive health services & screenings).

Lab Screenings

  • Anemia ($6 fee)
  • Cholesterol screening (12-hour fasting required - $25 fee)
  • Glucose screening (Blood sugar - $10 fee)
  • Pregnancy screening
