Walk-in Clinic Nurse Services and Nurse Call Center


Public Health Walk-in Clinic nurse services are available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday (8 AM – 4 PM), and Tuesday (10:30 AM – 6:30 PM).

The Nurse Call Center is available by phone Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday (8 AM - 4:30 PM), with extended hours on Tuesday (10:30 AM - 6:30 PM).

Public Health Walk-in Clinic nurse services are provided at the Public Health Center, located at
514 Riverview Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53188.

Public health nurses are available to provide health information and referrals, as well as walk-in services (preventive health services & screenings).

Preventive Health Services and Screenings

Lab Screenings

  • Cholesterol screening (12-hour fasting required - $25 fee)
  • Glucose screening (Blood sugar - $10 fee)
  • Pregnancy screening
  • STD (Chlamydia & Gonorrhea - $20 fee)

The Public Health Division will be closed to the public for 2018 holiday observances on the following dates:

  • CHRISTMAS EVE and CHRISTMAS DAY will be observed Monday, December 24, 2018, and Tuesday, December 25, 2018
  • NEW YEAR'S EVE and NEW YEAR'S DAY (2018-2019) will be observed Monday, December 31, 2018 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019
