Directions to Waukesha County Government Center

IMPORTANT: If you plan to visit an office in the Waukesha County Courthouse or Administration Center, please note that a new security screening process in effect. All visitors coming to the Courthouse or Administration Center must enter through the main Courthouse entrance (515 W. Moreland Blvd.) and will be required to go through a screening station, which includes placing personal items on a scanning device. Depending on the number of people entering the building at one time, there could be delays in getting through this process. We kindly ask that you plan accordingly when conducting business at the County.

From Areas East of Waukesha via I-94

  1. Take I-94 west to Highway J (Pewaukee Road)
  2. Exit at Highway J south (Exit 294) and drive approximately 1.5 miles to the intersection of PewaukeeRoad and Moreland Boulevard.
  3. Turn right onto Moreland Boulevard.
  4. The Administration Center is located at the southwest corner of Pewaukee Road and Moreland Boulevard. Visitor parking is available next to the north side of the building on the left or in the parking lot across the street on the north side of Moreland Boulevard.

From Areas North of Waukesha via Highway 164 from Pewaukee, Sussex, Lisbon

  1. Take Highway 164 (Pewaukee Road) south go over I-94, (where Highway 164 becomes Highway J). Stay on Highway J south to Moreland Boulevard (approximately 1.5 miles past I-94 interchange).
  2. Turn right onto Moreland Boulevard.
  3. The Administration Building is located on the left, at the southwest corner of Pewaukee Road and Moreland Boulevard. Visitor parking is available next to the north side of the building on the left or in the parking lot across the street on the north side of Moreland Boulevard.

From Areas Northeast of Waukesha via Highway F from Brookfield, Lannon, Menomonee Falls, Butler

  1. Take Highway F south to the City of Waukesha. Highway F can be reached from Highway 190 (Capital Drive, Lisbon Road, or Highway 74.
  2. At the intersection of Highway F and Moreland Boulevard turn west (right) onto Moreland Boulevard up the hill to the stoplight which is the intersection of Moreland Boulevard and Pewaukee Road
  3. The Administration Building is located on the left, at the southwest corner of Pewaukee Road and Moreland Boulevard. Visitor parking is available next to the north side of the building on the left or in the parking lot across the street on the north side of Moreland Boulevard.

From Areas Northwest of Waukesha via Highway 16 from Hartland, Merton, North Lake, Stone Bank, Nashotah, Chenequa, Oconomowoc, Mapleton, Monterey, Lac La Belle

  1. Take Highway 16 east to I-94. Then take I-94 east to Highway J (Pewaukee Road) (Exit 294)
  2. Exit at Highway J south and drive approximately 1.5 miles to the intersection of Pewaukee Road and Moreland Boulevard.
  3. Turn right onto Moreland Boulevard.
  4. The Administration Center is located at the southwest corner of Pewaukee Road and Moreland
  5. The Administration Building is located on the left, at the southwest corner of Pewaukee Road and Moreland Boulevard. Visitor parking is available next to the north side of the building on the left or in the parking lot across the street on the north side of Moreland Boulevard.

From Areas Northwest of Waukesha via I-94 from Delafield, Summit, Oconomowoc

  1. Take I-94 east to Highway J (Pewaukee Road) (Exit 294)
  2. Exit at Highway J south and drive approximately 1.5 miles to the intersection of Pewaukee Road and Moreland Boulevard.
  3. Turn right onto Moreland Boulevard.
  4. The Administration Building is located on the left, at the southwest corner of Pewaukee Road and Moreland Boulevard. Visitor parking is available next to the north side of the building on the left or in the parking lot across the street on the north side of Moreland Boulevard.

From Areas South of Waukesha via Highway 164 from Town of Waukesha, Vernon, Big Bend, Muskego, New Berlin

  1. Take Highway 164 north to the City of Waukesha and the intersection of Highways 59 and 164.
  2. Turn east (right) at the intersection to get onto the Highway 59 and 164 bypass.
  3. Take the bypass north to the Highway 164 and 18 intersection (Moreland Boulevard).
  4. Turn west (left) onto Moreland Boulevard and drive approximately 2 miles crossing the Fox River Bridge and driving up a steep hill to a stoplight which is the Moreland Boulevard and Pewaukee Road intersection.
  5. The Administration Building is located on the left, at the southwest corner of Pewaukee Road and Moreland Boulevard. Visitor parking is available next to the north side of the building on the left or in the parking lot across the street on the north side of Moreland Boulevard.

From Areas Southwest of Waukesha via Highway 59 from Genesee, North Prairie, Eagle, Mukwonago

  1. Take Highway 59 northeast into the City of Waukesha. Turn left onto Highway X (Genesee Road) which will turn into St. Paul Avenue.
  2. Continue on St. Paul Avenue through the City of Waukesha until you come to the intersection of Highway 18 and Moreland Boulevard (approximately 3 miles)
  3. Turn west onto Moreland Boulevard and drive up the hill to the stop light at the intersection of Moreland Boulevard and Pewaukee Road.
  4. The Administration Building is located on the left, at the southwest corner of Pewaukee Road and Moreland Boulevard. Visitor parking is available next to the north side of the building on the left or in the parking lot across the street on the north side of Moreland Boulevard.

From Areas West of Waukesha via Highway 18 from Wales, Genesee, Dousman, Ottawa

  1. Take Highway 18 east into the City of Waukesha where it will turn into Summit Avenue.
  2. Turn north (left) onto Moreland Boulevard).
  3. Stay on Moreland Boulevard for approximately 1.5 miles at which point you will be driving past the Waukesha County Courthouse located on the south (right) side of the street.
  4. The Administration Building is located on the right just past the Courthouse at the southwest corner of Pewaukee Road and Moreland Boulevard. Visitor parking is available next to the north side of the building on the left or in the parking lot across the street on the north side of Moreland Boulevard.
