The Juror Qualification Questionnaire is the first step in the process of selecting jurors to serve on trials. It is not a summons to appear for jury duty, but only a questionnaire as required by Ch. 756, Wis. Statutes to determine your eligibility to serve as a juror.
Those who qualify for jury duty become the jury pool for the next calendar year. Throughout the calendar year, as jury trials are scheduled, jurors will be sent a Summons to serve on jury duty. Summons are mailed to randomly-selected jurors approximately three weeks prior to jury service, and the date(s) of service are shown on the summons. Not everyone who qualifies for jury service will receive a summons.
