In Small Claims Court, the court commissioner's decision becomes a judgment unless one or both parties objects to his/her decision and demands a trial before a circuit court judge by filing a Demand for Trial. The Demand for Trial must be filed within 10 days of an oral decision or within 15 days of the mailing of a written decision.
Below you will find basic instructions for handling your court matter and most of the forms you will need to get from the beginning to the end of the process.
