In 1935, just 32 years after the Wright Brothers’ famous
first flight, Waukesha County Airport/Crites Field opened with the mission of
helping aviation enthusiasts learn to fly. Eighty years later, the Airport provides
a variety of business and recreational flight services, driving economic
development and enjoyment in Southeastern Wisconsin.
