Waukesha County Airport / Crites Field is owned and operated by Waukesha County.

The Airport is governed by a 5 member Airport Commission and managed by fulltime airport staff.

The Waukesha County Board of Supervisors is the legislative body of the County concerned with both administrative and public service policy matters.

The Waukesha County Executive is responsible for coordinating and directing all administrative and management functions of the County which are not vested in other elected officials.

It is the Airport Commission, County Board, and County Executive who have active participation in the direction and growth of the Airport.
