Help Waukesha County Park System plant 1,000
tree seedlings to celebrate Arbor Day. Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to
noon you can help reforest a county park in your community. The entrance
fee will be waived for those participating in this event.
Bring your family, friends or scout
groups to your favorite County park, and come back to watch it grow. Limited
quantities of tree seedlings are available. The select County Park
locations are as follows:

that celebrates the role of trees in our lives and promotes tree planting and
care. Nationally, the first Arbor Day in the
United States was in 1872. Wisconsin has been celebrating since 1883.
Wisconsin’s official Arbor Day is the last Friday in April.

natural resource based park system that demonstrates stewardship while
