Portions of Lake Country Trail will be temporally closed through SUMMER 2015....

Alert - Temporary Closures: Lake Country Trail

ALERT - Lake Country Trail Maintenance: 2014-15

American Transmission Company (ATC) will be replacing existing wires and structures along the Lake Country Trail. Portions of the trail will be closed periodically until August 2015 to accommodate the movement of crews and equipment.

Hwy. P to Glen Cove Road: ATC has completed the transmission line work, but restoration work along the trail may continue into May 2015 depending on weather and ground conditions. ATC will reopen the trail as soon as it is safe to do so.

Glen Cove Road to Golf Road: ATC began the pre-construction activities in March 2015 to replace the transmission structures. The trail is expected to be closed through summer 2015.
