    Alert - Temporary Closures: Lake Country Trail

    Now OPEN - From the city of Oconomowoc eastward to Maple Avenue (by Naga-Waukee Golf Course).  The intersection of Hwy 67 in Oconomowoc is still under construction from an unrelated WE Energies project and the crosswalks have been diverted to the northern half of that intersection.

    As part of the Quad County Electric Reliability Project, other portions of the Lake Country Trail (Maple Avenue eastward to Golf Rd) will remain temporarily closed during construction and restoration.

    This information will be updated when an alert is in place. Please check here as you prepare your trip to the beach. Water quality, swimmer's itch and weather may all be factors in your beach planning. Always consider that weather conditions can change quickly.

    Will close for the season at 7 pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2015

    Menomonee Beach - n/a
    Will close for the season at 7 pm on Sunday, August 16, 2015.

    Minooka Beach - Swim at your own Risk through September 30, 2015.

    Mukwonago Beach -07/31/2015:  Beach is CLOSED due to water quality.  Additional samples are being taken and the beach will remain closed until the E. Coli level falls below 1000.​

    Swim at your own Risk through September 30, 2015.

     

    Muskego Beach - n/a
    Will close for the season at 7 pm on Thursday, August. 20, 2015. 

    Naga-Waukee Beach - n/a
    Will be open with lifeguards through 7 pm on Thursday, August 13, 2015. Beginning Friday, August 14 Naga-Waukee Beach will be Swim at your own Risk through September 30, 2015.
