TEXTILES (USED CLOTHING)

Did you know that annually in the U.S. about 8.75 billion pounds of waste sent to landfills and incinerators is made of cloth? Currently, Americans recover less that 14% of clothing, accessories, and bed linens, leaving 86% to be thrown away. If these textile items are still in good condition, they can be made available for people to use again.
