Collection Sites: Household Hazardous Waste

Waukesha County residents are welcome at two permanent collection sites for household hazardous waste (HHW) and four special one-day collections in spring and fall: one each in Brookfield, Delafield, Mukwonago, and Oconomowoc.

All sites are free to Waukesha County residents - proof of residency is required. With questions, contact us via email or at 262-896-8300.

At collection sites, please:

• Stay in your car at all times.
• Show proof of Waukesha County residency
• Arrive with all items in the trunk
• All items in a box or container for easy collection. The box will not be returned; gas cans are returned.

Did you know?

Cleaning, automotive, and garden products can be donated by residents to the Product Exchange Program for other residents to take home and repurpose.

The Product Exchange Program is available at all of the county's permanent household hazardous waste sites (view locations). Quantities and types of materials available vary, and participants will be required to sign a liability waiver and standard release form.
