Waukesha County continues its Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) program that started in 2016. The program is described in the grant and relies on an intergovernmental agreement that was executed with Washington County. Some key elements of the AIS program include:
Waukesha County plans to expand this website by including local AIS lake distribution maps, which are currently in development. An electronic newsletter will be used as the primary method to communicate AIS program updates and events to local lake organizations and other interested county residents.
